Fundraising events volunteer

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our events across the Isle of Wight.

The role might involve registering and supporting participants or attendees, setting up or packing down an event, or marshalling at an event. However, you can help your support means our events can run smoothly and raise money to fund cancer support for local people. 

Application process/referrals: To volunteer@wessexcancer.org.uk mentioning you wish to volunteer at fundraising events. You will be asked to complete a short form and we will ask for a reference from someone who knows you, and then a member of the fundraising team will be in touch to let you know of upcoming opportunities. 

Skills

We're looking for people who are friendly, willing to get stuck in and help, who are able to communicate with members of the public and are keen to work as a team.
