Wessex Cancer Support helps and supports anyone affected by cancer regardless of age, gender or type of cancer here on the Isle of Wight.
Our dedicated team are committed to offering free support for as long as people need it, away from a hospital environment.
We are looking for some wonderful volunteers to collect bucket donations at some set events - We have several bucket collections throughout the year within supermarkets or at events.
We need volunteers who are able to chat to people, hand out our leaflets, and take donations at these opportunities.
Skills

Availability Details
We have a list of events and locations where we need bucket collections. You can volunteer for one a year, one a month or all or them. Here are a few of the events we are attending - Supermarket Collections - Saturday 30th March Tesco, Ryde Sunday 28th April Busy Bees, Ryde Saturday 8th June Sainsburys, Newport Saturday 27th July Asda, Newport Sunday 10th November Busy Bees, Ryde Saturday 23rd November Asda, Newport Sunday 1st December Busy Bees, Ryde Saturday 14th December Asda, Newport Local Events - Summer Fayre organised by HMP Isle of Wight to raise funds for Wessex Cancer Support and Mountbatten: Saturday 18th May – 10am – 3pm (location tbc) Scooter Rally, Ryde stand for Wessex Cancer Support: 23rd – 26th August (many hours available) IOW Classic Motor Show, Newport Quay stall and collecting: Saturday 7th September
