Volunteer Hypnotherapist

Could you spare a few hours a week to support local people affected by a cancer diagnosis, this can be the person with a diagnosis or their support network.

We’ve been lucky enough to have a volunteer hypnotherapist for the last 18months who has helped so many of our clients, with many different issues like pain, insomnia to name a few.

Unfortunately, a house move is taking him to the mainland.

Last year we supported over 200 new clients navigating their way through a cancer diagnosis.

We provide free local emotional and well-being support for anyone affected by cancer. Our Centre is located in Lugley Street in Newport.

Skills

• Membership of General hypnotherapy register or NCH.
• Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma Level 4 or above.
• Knowledge of issues patients or their carers may face, including lack of sleep, pain, anxiety, etc.
• Listening skills, important and strong non-verbal communication observation and building rapport skills.
