Police Volunteer Vehicle Maintenance Support Assistant

We are seeking practical and reliable volunteers to help support the upkeep of police vehicles on the Isle of Wight.

This hands-on role helps ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for frontline patrols each day.

What you’ll do :

• Clean police vehicles and carry out basic checks (e.g. oil and tyre pressure)
• Report any faults or damage Help maintain vehicle equipment and presentation standards
• Support the movement of vehicles for servicing when required
• When Early mornings (before 8am) are preferred to prepare vehicles for daily use, though other availability can be considered.

What we’re looking for

• Reliable and proactive individuals with a practical approach
• Ability to work independently and take pride in high standards
• Full UK driving licence (D1 desirable)

• Additional information Based in Newport or Ryde (may involve travel between sites) Police vetting required
