Experience of Care Volunteer

To enhance the experience of our patients within the hospital.

This is a multi-purpose role, which includes:

•Meet and greet in reception areas - Greeting patients on arrival; Directing patients to various departments.

If you would also like to support the highly valued and frequently used scooter service, we can arrange training for you. This service plays an essential role in supporting the mobility and independence of our visitors

•Patient survey support - Assisting the team with carrying out surveys; Data will be collected using an iPad. To engage with service users and patients, encouraging to complete the surveys, assisting them if required.

•Admin support within our teams. Scanning; Photocopying; Printing; Assisting with recruitment/away days and at trust events, such as volunteer fairs

Skills

Friendly, approachable and polite.

Comfortable approaching patients and visitors in a confident and caring manner.

Reliable and good at time keeping.
