We are looking for volunteers to support the main carer attending the Creating Memories sessions at Parkside Pavilion.
The program of events will be fluid as to what our clients like to do.
We have activities such as singing, dancing in the chair, we have games and jigsaw puzzles.
We also have themed events an example is a colour. Taking yellow, to wear it (an item of clothing), sing about it - tie a yellow ribbon, mellow yellow, we all live in a yellow submarine, eating - banana
Skills
To
do these sessions we need volunteers who are creative, artistic, good with
creating healthy snacks and a drive to make every session enjoyable and
fulfilling.
We are ideally looking for people who have a strong interest and/or experience in dementia care.
