Do you enjoy DIY and have a few hours to spare each week? The Isle of Wight Youth Trust is looking for a practical, reliable volunteer to help keep our sites safe, welcoming and well maintained for the children and young people we support.
You'll turn your hand to a variety of jobs, including:
Painting and decorating
General DIY, repairs and odd jobs
Minor electrical and plumbing fixes
Liaising with contractors for larger or specialist work
Skills
You'll be confident in your practical skills and comfortable working independently, able to assess a job, decide the best approach, and know when something needs a professional.
Experience in a trade or a strong track record of hands on DIY would be ideal.
