The Isle of Wight University for Free Time is an established, self-funded island charity (for the first 27 years known as IWU3A) that has now for over 30 years been supporting those members of our community who are retired, semi-retired and who simply have “free time.”
Our aim is to support people by breaking isolation and loneliness and helping them to keep their mind and body active by engaging them in a variety of learning and social activities.
For further information please visit our website .
We are now looking for volunteers in a variety of different roles:
1. Marketing support
Ideally with some awareness/knowledge of marketing or advertising to help us in our marketing strategies.
2. Newsletter support
To help the chairman in putting together the quarterly newsletter and the monthly updates.
3. Group leaders
To create and lead a small group for our members based on their expertise if any, interests, experiences, passions.
Coaching and practical support will be provided by our chairman, a former business and life coach.
If interested please contact our chairman Alex Tana at email@example.com or on 01983 563144.
