Our surf mentors offer 1 to 1 support to the children and young people on our Surf Therapy courses and as part of our Surf Club.
Working alongside qualified Surf Coaches and Life Guards full training and support is given to ensure our volunteers are aware of their role and responsibility.
Skills
Confidence in the water is a must but you do not need to be able to surf.
Surfing and SUP skills are not essential but are helpful if volunteering at the Surf Club, however, during Surf Therapy we are rarely out of waist high depth.
