With 11 Mountbatten shops on most of our Island high streets, and a warehouse in Newport where donations are sorted and prepared for sale, retail volunteers are in high demand!
We require volunteers in the following shops:
Freshwater Sandown Wootton East Cowes Newport
Time commitment
One shift per week, for around four hours (or more, if you would like)
You might be involved in
Receiving donations, sorting out stock and replenishing the shelves Merchandising stock and window dressing Serving customers at the till Explaining Mountbatten's care services to customers and signposting them to our support
You will be
Helping raise money to support people facing death, dying and bereavement on the Isle of Wight Developing skills which could enhance your CV

Skills
Volunteers should have good communication skills
Be friendly, positive and caring
Be physically fit and well enough to operate in a retail or warehouse environment

Availability Details
We are particularly in need of volunteers within our Newport shop, Newport Distribution Warehouse, Freshwater, Ryde and Wootton. We welcome young volunteers between the ages of 14 and 18 as well as adults.
