Love meeting people? Interested in local history? Looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community?
The Wight Aviation Museum is looking for friendly volunteers to join their team and help welcome visitors at weekends. As a Weekend Visitor Meet & Greet Volunteer, you’ll be one of the first faces visitors see, helping to create a warm and welcoming experience for everyone who comes through the doors.
What’s involved?
- Greeting and welcoming visitors
- Helping people feel at home in the museum
- Being part of a friendly volunteer team
- Supporting the museum to open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am–3pm
No experience needed!
You don’t need any specialist knowledge of aviation or museums – just a friendly smile, a welcoming attitude and a willingness to help. Full support and induction are provided.
