Yarmouth Castle Visitor Volunteer

Yarmouth Castle is an artillery fort built by Henry V111 in 1547 to protect Yarmouth Harbour on the Isle of Wight from the threat of French attack.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us share the history of Yarmouth Castle with our visitors.

You'll enjoy meeting people, have a friendly and approachable style and be a passionate ambassador for Yarmouth Castle.

You will be able to communicate well with all age groups, and will be keen to learn about the history of Yarmouth Castle and share this knowledge with our visitors.

If you have a gift for making people feel at home, this is the role for you.
