Our own homes and gardens can offer vital refuge for struggling wildlife. Whether it is window boxes planted for pollinators, ponds and bird boxes, or wildflower mini meadows – these smaller spaces across our villages, towns and cities are all essential to creating a strong, connected Nature Recovery Network. Many people, however, are unsure of how to make the most of where they live for wildlife and would like some advice and support.
As a Wilder Garden Champion, you will work with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust to raise the profile of Team Wilder. You will encourage others in your local area to make a change for the benefit of wildlife and people by providing gardening advice and support to people interested in improving their gardens for wildlife.
