Citizens Advice Isle of Wight see people at a number of community locations across the island, with Advisers assisting with a wide range of issues, from supporting them to complete a Blue Badge form to advising on how to get a deposit back from a landlord.
You will be based in our office at Ryde Library, assisting our Advisers working from Ryde Aspire and Ryde Library.
You will be helping clients to complete our consent and data forms, scanning in documentation and adding information to our confidential database.
You will be talking to clients, taking details of their issues and, where appropriate, signposting them to trusted sources of information on our Isle Help, Isle Find It and Citizens Advice websites.
You may also be making referrals to our Isle Help partner organisations.
Volunteer Outreach Coordinators are the gateway to the General Advice services, explaining the process to the client and ensuring that the client’s needs are met.
