Support Volunteer

We have several roles available to support people living with Motor Neurone disease on the Island.

We are looking for Association visitors - someone with a couple of hours a fortnight to keep in contact with people with MND ensuring they have all the support they require, someone to listen and build a trusting relationship with during their difficult journey.

Some IT skills disirable but not essential.

Someone to attend monthly support groups to support other volunteers.

We also have some fundraising/awareness roles available.

Route to become a volunteer: apply on website www.mndassociation.org.uk or contact Dawn.pond@mndassociation.org DBS required References required E-learning 4 x 2.5 virtual classroom training shadowing of current volunteers. Fundraising training differs and is less time consuming.
