Assist running a Youth Club for ages 10-14. Sessions often include arts and crafts, games and skills building. Volunteers will assist in delivering activities over a 2 hour, evening Youth Club Session.
If you are interested in youth work and are willing to undergo a DBS check – please contact Jordan Royl.
Volunteers are encouraged to discuss with me any ideas or sessional input, that they would like to share with the children and the programme, to enrich all out experiences and fun!
Skills
Good conservationist with good listening skills - there are lots of personalities to meet at the Youth club. A stuck in attitude and the willingness to have fun. If you can offer any knowledge of sports that would be brilliant to encourage children to engage in new activities and being active. We try our hand at Sports and games but our sessional leaders aren’t Sports women per se, so many of our activities are based on Arts and Craft and Science based or creative. We run sports sessions on one or two Mondays and Wednesdays per month.

Availability Details
Flexible Evenings. Please let me know when you are available to help for sessions: I hope to build up a database of volunteers and work on future projects, within the community. This doesn't need to be a huge commitment - perhaps you could join us and share a skill or hobby on an occasional basis. Or maybe you would like to volunteer on a regular basis and gain valuable experience of working with young people.
