Isle of Wight Search & Rescue (WightSAR) are seeking new recruits to join the team to train as Search Technicians.
WightSAR are members of Lowland Rescue and provide skilled volunteers to assist Hampshire Constabulary in searches for high risk missing persons across the IOW.
All applicants will be subject to a DBS check & interview.
Training will be given prior to a weekend assessment course.
The Team are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who are available for day time searches.

When can I volunteer?
We need volunteers for cover 24/7 as we don't know when we will get a call out. We are particularly interested in covering availability for daytime searches.
