We are looking for Volunteer Puppy Parents to look after a dog in their home (between the ages of 8 weeks and 2 years), whilst it's in training to become an assistance dog (Ability Dog) for a young disabled person on the Isle of Wight.
We are looking for full time or part time (foster) Puppy Parents.
Puppy Parents must be over the age of 18 years, be living on the Isle of Wight, have a secure, fenced garden and must be able to attend a weekly training class on Wednesday mornings.
This is a fantastic way to reap the benefits of having a dog in the home without financial or long-term constraints.
All costs are covered by the Charity.
Skills
No previous dog training or dog ownership is required (though this would be advantageous).
All training and full ongoing support is provided.
