Community Champions

Independent Arts relies on fundraising and donations to help support our work across the Island using the arts as a tool improve health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation.

Volunteers play a critical role in our fundraising work with tasks including siting and collecting our charity boxes at shops and businesses across the Island, supporting community groups who are interested in running their own events, and volunteering at Independent Arts’ fundraising events.

Another vital aspect of the Community Champions role is to simply spread the word of what Independent Arts are up to; helping us to distribute quarterly what's on guides, posters and information, introducing us to networks and community groups your familiar with, and supporting our community engagement manager in building a presence across the Isle of Wight.
