“Alberts” are the Fishermen’s Mission’s distinctive collecting tins that can be seen in outlets across the country, including fish and chip shops, cafes, restaurants and seaside stores.
Each year they raise thousands of pounds in support of the Fishermen’s Mission’s caring work.
They are a beacon of support and a reminder to fishing families that we are here to support them and their families when needed.
Our aim is to increase the number of Alberts on display and the amount of income and awareness they highlight. We can do this with the help of dedicated Albert Organisers - you.
Skills
We are looking for individuals who like talking, approaching people and educating them on the work of the Fishermen's Mission.
Working closely with their local Mission Area Officer volunteers would be locating possible places for our collection boxes, providing information when required about the Fishermen's Mission.
