Events Volunteer for Trans+ Charity

Events Volunteers needed to help at stalls at various Prides over the summer.

As an Events Volunteer, you will represent our charity at Pride by setting up stands, engaging with attendees, discussing the charity's mission, and signing up new members and volunteers.

This role will be based on event availability and your availability to attend training.

All events volunteers need to be able to volunteer at least one of the following pride events: 07/06 - Portsmouth Pride 05/07 -Trans Pride Winchester 12/07 - Bournemouth Pride 19/07 - Isle of Wight Pride 23/08 - Southampton Pride 30/08 - Reading Pride

Skills

In this role you will develop your communication and interpersonal skills and gain confidence in public speaking and networking.

All events volunteers are required to attend an events training day on Saturday 10th of May at our Southampton office, right next to the central train station.

You will also be required to attend online Trans Awareness Training on the evening of Wednesday 21st May which will run for 7-8.30pm.
