Purpose of the Role
Carers Isle of Wight supports unpaid carers across the Island who look after family members or friends. Many carers create art, crafts or handmade items as a creative outlet or small income stream, but need support to share or sell their work online.
We are looking for a volunteer who can help carers set up and manage an online presence — such as a simple website or a selling platform like Etsy, eBay, or Folksy — so that they can showcase and sell their creations confidently and independently.
The role could also include offering broader digital support, such as helping carers to get more comfortable using smartphones, tablets, social media, or other online tools to stay connected and organised.

- Encourage and empower carers to develop self-sufficiency in managing their digital tools and platforms.
