Conservation Team Volunteers

Conservation team – Meet Wednesday & Saturday mornings between 9.00am and 1.00pm.

Cutting back small trees and overhanging branches, then chipping the wood to put on paths.

Cutting regrowth and putting through a shredder to deposit on sunken graves.

Grass cutting and general tidying of the entrance area, grass cuttings going into the composting area.

Clearing overgrown grave spaces to reveal headstones and kerbing.

Walking the grounds, removing & cutting up dead flowers from graves to the compost area, clearing up non-recyclable waste (flower cellophane etc) and depositing into litter bins.
